The plumbing company Christoffersen & Knudsen A/S and three members from the management in this and two other plumbing companies have entered into settlements with the Danish State Prosecutor for Serious Economic and International Crime for infringing section 6 of the Danish Competition Act.

On 7 September 2018 the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (hereinafter “DCCA”) received a complete notification of Royal Unibrew A/S’ (hereinafter “Royal Unibrew”) acquisition of sole control of Bev.Con ApS which owns 100 pct. of the shares in Cult A/S (hereinafter together referred to as “CULT”).

The City Court of Hillerød has fined the demolition company CMP Nedrivning ApS DKK 5 million for exchanging prices with competing demolition companies in 11 cases. Moreover, the City Court fined two members of the company’s management each DKK 125,000.

On February 15, 2019, The City Court of Næstved sentenced the company Icon Hairspa (a Danish distributor of hair products) to pay a fine of DKK 1,000,000 (€ 134,000) for resale price maintenance. A person from the management was sentenced to pay a fine of DKK 100,000 (€13,400).

On the 30th of January 2019 the Danish Competition Council (”DCC”) ruled in a case concerning Falck’s (Denmark's largest provider of ambulance services) abuse of dominant position by deciding and implementing an exclusionary strategy which aimed at excluding Falck’s competitor BIOS from the market.
