The plumbing company Christoffersen & Knudsen A/S and three members from the management in this and two other plumbing companies have entered into settlements with the Danish State Prosecutor for Serious Economic and International Crime for infringing section 6 of the Danish Competition Act.

The City Court of Hillerød has fined the demolition company CMP Nedrivning ApS DKK 5 million for exchanging prices with competing demolition companies in 11 cases. Moreover, the City Court fined two members of the company’s management each DKK 125,000.

On February 15, 2019, The City Court of Næstved sentenced the compa-ny Icon Hairspa (a Danish distributor of hair products) to pay a fine of DKK 1,000,000 (€ 134,000) for resale price maintenance. A person from the management was sentenced to pay a fine of DKK 100,000 (€13,400).

The City Court of Hillerød has fined two members of the management in a now dissolved demolition company for infringing the Danish Competition Act by bid rigging.

The Danish Competition Appeal Tribunal has upheld a decision taken by the Danish Competition Council (DCC) that a horizontal cooperation agreement/decision among more than 50 independent camera distributors, who are members of an association of camera distributors called Team DS, constituted an infringement of section 6 of the Danish Competition Act and Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU).

The City Court of Odense acquitted the construction companies Jorton A/S and H. Skjøde Knudsen A/S as well as three members of the management in a bid rigging case.

The district court in Aarhus has ruled that the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority acted correctly in connection with the notification of the merger between Dansk Supermarked A/S (now Salling Group) and Wupti.com A/S in the summer of 2015.

The case concerns whether the only two Danish manufacturers of roofing membranes, Icopal Danmark ApS (“Icopal”) and Nordic Waterproofing A/S (“NWP”), as well as the two associations Danske Tagpapfabrikanters Brancheforening (“DTB”, in English “Association of Danish Manufactures of Bituminous Waterproofing”) and Tagpapbranchens Oplysningsråd (“TOR”, in English “Danish Roofing Advisory Board) have entered into an agreement and/or concerted practice with the aim to foreclose actual and potential competitors and limit product supply.

On 21 and 22 June 2018, the energy companies SEAS-NVE Holding A/S and Syd Energi Holding A/S each accepted fines of DKK 4,000,000 (€ 537,000) for infringing Section 12 b (1) and 12 c (5) of the Danish Competition Act.

The Danish Competition Appeal Tribunal has upheld the findings of the Danish Competition Council that a horizontal cooperation agreement between two independent media agencies constituted an infringement of Section 6 of the Danish Competition Act.
