On 11 April 2016, the Danish Competition Appeals Tribunal upheld a decision by the Danish Competition Council (DCC) of 24 June 2015. The DCC had found that LKF Vejmarkering A/S (“LKF”) and Eurostar Danmark A/S (“Eurostar”) had infringed Section 6 of the Danish Act on Competition and Article 101 TFEU by submitting a joint bid through a consortium in a tender for road marking in Denmark.

In violation of the Danish Payment Services Act, Danske Bank and Nets’ subsidiary Teller required businesses not to surcharge for certain payment solutions to consumers. The Competition and Consumer Authority has issued an order. Both companies have changed their contracts.

Gå til Huge fines for estate agency chains

Five Danish estate agency chains have accepted to pay a total fine of almost DKK 12 million for infringement of the Danish Competition Act. Another chain as well as The Danish Association of Chartered Estate Agents reject the multi-million fine and will therefore be charged by the Public Prosecutor.
