The Danish Competition and Consumer Authority has published a draft version of the guidelines “When companies bid jointly – guidelines for joint bidding under competition law”. The guidelines are now in public hearing.

The Minister of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs has issued an order, which extends the suspension of merger review time limits until May 10.

The Danish Competition and Consumer Authority has referred the proposed merger between Mastercard and Nets to the European Commission. This is because the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority has come to the conclusion that the merger may affect markets in a number of other EU member states.

Søndergaard Nedrivning A/S and three employees from the company have been discharged in the demolition cartel case complex. As a result, the case complex is now completed. In total, six companies and 12 people paid fines for approx. DKK 18 million in the cases.
