On 16 November 2017, the High Court in Denmark upheld a sentence from the City Court of Glostrup. The sentence means that Metro Cash & Carry Danmark A/S must pay a fine of DKK 50,000 (€ 6,720) for withholding information in a merger case.

On April 29, 2015, Variant A/S, a Danish producer of trailers, entered into a settlement with the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority for infringing section 6 of the Danish Competition Act by imposing resale price maintenance. Accordingly Variant A/S accepted to pay a fine of DKK 400,000 (€ 53,600).

Vila pays fine in settlement for resale price maintenance

31. October 2013

On October 30, 2013, Vila entered into a settlement with the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority for infringing section 6 of the Dan-ish Competition Act by imposing resale price maintenance to some of the company’s dealers. Accordingly Vila accepted to pay a fine of DKK 1.6 million (€ 213.333). Two persons from the management each accepted to pay fines of DKK 22.000 (€ 2.933).

On June 30, 2013, the owner of the company HG Agencies (a Danish distributor of leisure weapons) entered into a settlement with the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority for infringing section 6 of the Danish Competition Act by imposing resale price maintenance to one of the company’s dealers. Accordingly the owner of HG Agencies accepted to pay a fine of DKK 40.000 (€ 5.333).
