On January 25, 2012, the Danish Competition Council settled a case, in which more than 65 per cent of the Danish real estate business, including the trade association and the six largest cooperative chains of independent estate agents, had been involved in anti-competitive boycott agreements against one particular property search portal, Boliga.dk.

The Danish Competition Council has on 30 November 2011 decided that commitment (#5) proposed by Nykredit in 2003 in connection with the merger with Totalkredit is not to be repealed. At the same time the council accepted a new commitment (#5a) proposed by Nykredit.

On 26th October 2011, The Danish Competition Council (DCC) has adopted a commitment decision, cf. Section 16a of the Danish Competition Act, to prevent competition restrictions in the Danish market for installation of automatic sprinkler systems. The decision concerns DBI’s guideline RL001 that is used to certify companies to work on automatic sprinkler systems.
